Love a glass of sangria but not the alcohol or hangover? Try this delicious and zero-proof recipe crafted by mixologist Lynnette Marrero, as spotlighted on The TODAY Show, featuring our newest red wine tincture, Wine Down™.
Ingredients:
- Wine Down™ (1-2 droppers per glass upon serving)
- 1 bottle (750 milliliters) red verjus or spiritless red wine alternative like Thomson & Scott Noughty Non-Alcoholic Rouge
- 10 ounces nonalcoholic spirit like Aplos Calme, Seedlip Spice 94 or ISH Caribbean Spiced Spirit
- 8 ounces pomegranate juice
- 8 ounces Cheeky Honey Ginger Syrup
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- 6 star anise pods
- 2 oranges, sliced into rings
- 2 apples, cut into slices
- 1 lemon, cut into wheels
To Make:
- Combine in a punch bowl or large format container and chill for 2 hours.
- Once chilled, pour into drinking glass, add in 1-2 droppers of Wine Down™, stir, garnish and enjoy!
